WEBSITE DESIGN

Travel Website:

Banff National Park

One website I was tasked to design in college was a travel website. The website I chose was Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. I’ve always wanted to visit this place, it’s absolutely stunning. I wanted to focus on the history of the national park, activities, places to stay and camping spots. I went with a warm purple color scheme and tried to not overwhelm the viewer with too much information on one page. A reel gallery of images was also used to showcase more of the breathtaking views, and points-of-interest and hotels around the park.

Museum Website:

The Smithsonian

Another website I designed was one for the Smithsonian museum. This website was a task that included needing to put a lot of information in a way that the typography was able to be read and understood clearly and quickly. In this design, aside from a basic run through of the history - consisted of exhibits that were currently at the museum, one that were upcoming and ones that had been featured previously. I was tasked to do it all on one page, with page jumps to their respective sections.

Flash Website:

A_H-P

2010 and prior, a lot of websites on the internet functioned off Adobe Flash. One website I worked on and kept up and running with a lot of flash elements and embedded videos was my second ever website, little did I know that the end of Flash would be around the corner. Below are some remnants of the Flash animated website I designed over 15 years ago, that I used to present my editing and work of Code Lyoko.
